Modern Petite Office Outfits

It’s been some time since I last shared a post like this.

Over the past few months, I’ve found a few wardrobe staples that keep showing up in my work-appropriate looks.

The formula is simple, versatile, and easy to repeat with similar items already in your closet.

Monday: Blue Button-Up + Beige Trousers + Cap-Toe Heels

Here’s my Monday move: start with the beige trousers, add the blue button-up, and let the cap-toe heels sharpen the whole look.

Pieces: Beige trousers (size XS, tailored), button-up blouse (similar options: draped blouse, silk-cotton shirt), heels (size 5.5, similar styles available), structured handbag.

These tailored trousers have become a favorite of mine, and they were worth the extra effort to hem.

The XS waist fits snugly, while the hips and thighs offer a relaxed fit.

They also pair well with sneakers and a chunky sweater for a smart-casual vibe.

Tuesday: Blazer + Jeans + Loafers

Honestly, this is my go-to formula for staying comfortable while still looking polished.

Pieces: Petite blazer (size 00, budget-friendly option), fitted tee (size XXS) + cropped jeans (size 24 short, similar styles available), loafers (size 5.5, similar tote bag).

I keep it simple and switch out the top layer, alternating between cardigans and structured blazers.

These loafers are my favorite flat option—they’re comfortable from the first wear and provide full coverage.

You can find a variety of colors in women’s sizes, and I’ve also tried the kids’ version in size 4, which fits like a women’s 5.5.

Wednesday: Striped Top + Navy Pants + Black Accessories

I’m fully behind navy with black here, even if the pairing is considered unconventional by some.

Pieces: Navy pants (size 24 short, wider cut preferred), striped tee (size XXS), slim belt (size XXS), slingback heels (size 5), minimalist watch (resized), structured handbag.

One of my favorite styling tricks is pairing navy with black.

I love how the two dark shades create a sleek, cohesive look with just a hint of contrast.

Thursday: Draped Blouse + A-Line Skirt

Here’s the choice I’d make every time: keep the slim-fitting draped blouse with an A-line skirt instead of fitted bottoms.

Pieces: Fitted top (size XXS), A-line skirt (similar options below), structured handbag, pumps (size 35.5, discount available for first-time orders).

The elegant draping on this blouse made it an instant favorite.

It pairs beautifully with both trousers and skirts.

Since the top is slim-fitting, I prefer to wear it with wider-cut pants or an A-line skirt rather than fitted bottoms.

Midi Skirt Options

  • Pleated skirt (XS fits well)
  • Petite pleated skirt in black
  • Silk slip skirt (different style, similar color)
  • Pleated maxi skirt (longer version of mine)

Friday: Black Mock Neck Top + Cream Trousers / Jeans

If I want the week to end easy and sharp, I’m going straight to black and winter cream.

Pieces: Petite jeans (size 00) + mock neck top (love the cap-sleeve version), shoes (size 5), slim belt (size XXS).

There’s something timeless about a black-and-white combination—or in this case, black and winter cream.

These tailored jeans are unlike any others I own and are incredibly flattering.

Note that the rise is higher than most bottoms from this brand, and I’ve found that a contrasting skinny belt helps visually balance the proportions.

The petite inseam (28”) makes them much more wearable than most trouser-style jeans, which tend to run longer.

These outfits are perfect for creating a stylish yet practical work wardrobe.

Let me know which look is your favorite.
